UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State defensive tackle Jordan Hill and kicker Sam Ficken were honored by the Big 10 for their performances in Saturday's 24-21 overtime victory against Wisconsin.

Hill was named league defensive player of the week. He ended his Penn State career with arguably his best game. Hill had a career-high 12 tackles, including eight in the fourth quarter and overtime. He also had two sacks. Earlier this year, Hill won defensive player of the week after the Iowa game.

Ficken was named the conference's special teams player of the week. He made field goals of 23, 32 and 37 yards, the last one winning the game for Penn State in overtime. Ficken made 10 field goals in a row to end the season.
