No forfeit victory for Penn State

Michigan won't have to forfeit to Penn State for using an ineligible player, after all.
A lesser punishment may eventually be handed down by the Big Ten Conference, but no timetable has been set.
Artis Chambers, who had one tackle in Michigan's 14-9 victory against Penn State Sept. 22, was eligible to play under the NCAA's freshman academic rules, but not under the Big Ten's, which are more stringent.
The Nittany Lions have dropped nine consecutive games to the Wolverines.
