Q: Ron, defensive tackle Devon Still has been a force for Penn State this year. I see he is picking up all kinds of honors. How good do you think his season has been?
Paul Johnson, Denver
MUSSELMAN: Still has been Penn State's MVP and the anchor of the defense. He has been outstanding all season despite having to fight through double-team blocks on most plays. He leads the Big Ten in tackles for losses with 15 and was named a finalist for two of the nation's biggest postseason honors Monday -- the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Outland Trophy. The Bednarik goes to the country's defensive player of the year, the Outland Trophy to the top interior lineman. Still, a fifth-year senior co-captain, previously was named a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to the country's top defensive player.
