Pitt's opponent in the first game of the preseason N.I.T. has been determined. The Panthers will play host to Fordham Monday Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center. Robert Morris will play Lehigh at 8 p.m.

The winners of those two games will play Tuesday for the right to advance to the semifinal round of the tournament at Madison Square Garden.

Pitt and Robert Morris usually play every season, but Pitt must get by Fordham and Robert Morris must beat Lehigh, an NCAA tournament team last season, for it to happen.
