Pitt beats Temple, 47-17

Running back Ray Graham totaled 180 all-purpose yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Pitt (4-4, 1-3 Big East) to a 47-17 win against Temple (3-4, 2-2 Big East) today at Heinz Field.

Graham's first two scores came in the second quarter. With 2:32 remaining in the first half, he scored on a 1-yard run. His second touchdown came on a 4-yard pass from quarterback Tino Sunseri with one second remaining before half time. Graham collected his third touchdown on a 2-yard run just 1:03 into the second half.

Graham rushed for 109 yards and caught four passes for 71 yards. Sunseri completed 20 of 28 passes for 321 yards and connected on three touchdown passes.

Pitt's defense recorded three sacks and limited the Owls' offense to 324 total yards.

The Panthers' next game is Saturday at Notre Dame, 3:30 p.m.
