The NBA lockout is due to begin tomorrow but the league has already cancelled its summer leagues.

That means NBA players will have to find somewhere else to play for the next few months and tonight that meant the crowd of roughly 400 people at Greentree Sportsplex was treated to a real treat as former Pitt star and current San Antonio Spurs forward DeJuan Blair showed up and played for team UPMC in the third game of the tripleheader of the summer Pro-Am league.

Blair, who recently finished his second season with the Spurs, started the game and has clearly delighted the crowd every time he has scored.

"I'm just looking for a run," Blair said as he took the floor. "Need to find as many runs as I can."

Blair is the first of several Pitt players in the NBA who could surface at the summer Pro-Am league as organizers have had contact with both Memphis Grizzlies forward Sam Young and Aaron Gray, who played last year with New Orleans.
