The Pittsburgh Pirates' campaign for that elusive .500 season began with a PR push this weekend at the 18th annual PirateFest at the Convention Center, Downtown.
Viewers using Macintosh computers are encouraged to download this video in Quicktime format. It is available in one broadband size, large.
Unlike previous years, this one features Pirates from the past, present and future -- everyone from Dave Parker to Jason Bay to Andrew McCutchen.
There also are prizes, games, youth baseball clinics on the 60-foot field, pierogi-eating contests, the Pirate Parrot and Q&A sessions with team president Frank Coonelly, general manager Neal Huntington, manager John Russell and more.
Festivities continue through Sunday.
