LYNCHBURG (36-49) was off.
HICKORY (36-48) beat Greensboro, 4-2. RHP Mike Crotta (4-5, 5.04) allowed two runs, one earned, in 6 1/3 innings. RHP Olivo Astacio (3.54) pitched 1 2/3 innings for his 11th save. He struck out four and walked one. CF Alex Presley (.307) went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI.
STATE COLLEGE (12-8) had its game at Vermont canceled by wet grounds.
BRADENTON (7-10) beat the Orioles, 13-5. RHP Francisco Ortiz (0-3, 8.62) allowed four runs in four innings. 1B John Fitzpatrick (.234) went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs.
