The Pirates put right-hander Chris Leroux on the 60-day disabled list Wednesday because of a strained right pectoral muscle, the final step in setting their opening-day roster.

They added right-hander Juan Cruz, who was a non-roster invitee, to the 40-man roster using the space Leroux vacated when he went on the DL. Jared Hughes will be the final reliever in the bullpen.

The Pirates also put Charlie Morton on the 15-day DL, retroactive to March 29, and A.J. Burnett on the 15-day DL, retroactive to March 26. Morton pitched in a minor league game today and threw 94 pitches in six innings.
