A steady stream of people flowed in and out of the ballpark to watch the games and to experience other attractions on the North Shore. Many small shops had been converted into souvenir stands, restaurant patrons spilled onto sidewalks and everything seemed to be decorated with All-Star logos, from street lamps to the portable toilets in the Sponsor Zone.

Jim Bukovac, of Cecil, was in full baseball mode. He won a hat at a booth in the sponsor zone before heading to FanFest and a 7 p.m. game at PNC Park. "I'm enjoying everything," he said.
