Pens sign winger Ferriero

The Penguins have signed winger Benn Ferriero to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700,000 at the NHL level.
Ferriero, 25, had seven goals, eight points in 35 NHL games with San Jose last season. He also played 20 games in the American Hockey League.
