Penguins center Evgeni Malkin is one of three finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award, which honors the NHL's "most outstanding player," as chosen by members of the NHL Players' Association.

The other finalists are New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist and Tampa Bay center Steve Stamkos.

Those three players also are the finalists for the Hart Trophy, which is presented by the league to the player "adjudged to be most valuable to his team."

The Hart is voted on by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
