Penguins have no layoff plans despite lockout

It won't exactly be business as usual for the Penguins in coming days, thanks to the NHL lockout, but the working world for people inside the organization apparently won't be turned upside down, either.
The Penguins have no plans, at this point, to lay off any employees, or to reduce any staffer's pay.
A number of employees left the organization during the lockout that wiped out the 2004-05 NHL season, but the Penguins did not lay off any workers during that dispute.
There is no word from the team yet on how it will handle money season-ticket buyers have paid for the 2012-13 season.
Several other clubs have announced plans that will pay season-ticket holders interest on payments they have made.
The NHL officially locked out its players Saturday night, when the collective bargaining agreement that took effect in 2005 expired.
There are no negotiations planned between league officials and the NHL Players' Association, although that could change with a phone call.
