Penguins forward Jeffrey signs with Netherlands team during lockout

Penguins forward Dustin Jeffrey has signed to play with the Tilburg Trappers of the Eredivisie, or top league, in the Netherlands for the duration of the NHL lockout.

Jeffrey, 24, has 12 goals, 21 points in 66 games with the Penguins.

He is the second member of the team to sign overseas. Center Evgeni Malkin is playing for his hometown Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinenal Hockey League in Russia.
