Penguins center Sidney Crosby has been named the NHL's No. 2 star for the week that ended Sunday.

Crosby had two goals and nine assists in four games during that period. That included a five-assist effort during the Penguins' 6-1 victory against the New York Islanders Sunday night.

Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky was honored as the No. 1 star after putting up a 0.77 goals-against average, .972 save percentage and one shutout while earning four victories.

Los Angeles center Jeff Carter was cited as the third star for scoring six goals in four games.

Penguins winger Chris Kunitz matched Carter's goal output, but was not named one of the league's stars.
