Penguins' annual camp for prospects July 10-14

The Penguins will have their annual development camp for the organization's prospects July 10-14.

The event will he highlighted by a scrimmage at 3 p.m. July 14 at Consol Energy Center.

The scrimmage will be free and open to the public.

Although the full roster will not be announced until next week, players scheduled to participate in the camp include defensemen Derrick Pouliot, Olli Maatta, Brian Dumoulin, Joe Morrow, Scott Harrington and Simon Despres and forwards Beau Bennett and Teddy Bleuger.

The prospects will take part in on-ice workouts and scrimmage, medical and fitness tests and a series of meetings and seminars in addition to the public scrimmage.

The camps instructors will be Wilkes-Barre/Scranton coach John Hynes, Baby Penguins assistant coach Alain Nasreddine, Penguins assistant to the general manager Tom Fitzgerald, player development coach Bill Guerin, goaltending development coach Mike Bales, strength and conditioning coach Mike Kadar and Wilkes-Barre strength and conditioning coach Joe Lorincz.
