LONDON -- Waynesburg native Coleman Scott won an Olympic bronze medal Saturday night in the 60-kilogram (about 132-pound) division, beating Japan's Kenichi Yumoto in the bronze match 0-1, 3-0, 3-1.

Scott fell to the eventual champion, Azerbaijan's Toghrui Asgarov, in the semifinals.

Things did not go as well for Wexford native Jake Herbert in the 84-kilogram (about 185-pound) division. Herbert went 1-2 for the day and will return home without a medal.
