When Eastern Conference rivals Avonworth and North Catholic meet, games are usually decided by a few points.

Friday night at J.C. Stone Field, they were decided by a few yards.

The North Catholic defense stopped visiting Avonworth inside the North Catholic 5-yard line on the final drive to preserve a 19-15 win in an Eastern Conference showdown.
