Damon Smith scored on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter to lift visiting Freeport to a 19-14 win against Ford City in an Allegheny Conference contest.
The teams entered the final quarter with the score tied at 7-7, but the Yellow Jackets (2-0, 2-0) went on top on a 14-yard pass from Brendan Lynch to Dustin Koedel. However, the extra point was no good. Ford City answered with a 1-yard touchdown run from Devan Willyard, and Tyler Blaniar converted the kick to give the Sabers the lead, 14-13.
Shai McKenzie rushed for 126 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the fifth-ranked Little Prexies (2-0, 2-0) to a Interstate Conference win against the host Scotties (0-2, 0-2). Dakota Datz rushed for 103 yards and a score in a losing effort.

Dravon Henry scored on runs of 24, 31 and 12 yards to lead the No. 1-ranked Quips (2-0) to a non-conference home win against the Eagles (0-2).

Christopher Harp threw a 65-yard touchdown to Jamel King in the third quarter and then William Johnson ran in the two-point conversion to put the visiting Knights (1-1) ahead for good in their non- conference win against the Raiders (0-2).

Brett Brumbaugh threw for 253 yards and five touchdowns in the No. 2-ranked Lions' (2-0, 2-0) rout of the host Golden Eagles (0-2, 0-2) in Century Conference action. Zach Challingsworth caught two of Brumbaugh's touchdown throws and finished with five catches for 161 yards.
Luke Brumbaugh passed for 271 yards and three touchdowns as the fourth-ranked Rebels (2-0, 2-0) trounced the Highlanders (0-2, 0-2) in a Century Conference matchup at McGuffey.
Darian Bradley scored on runs of 11, 5, 4 and 1 yards in the Bobcats (2-0, 1-0) Midwestern Conference victory against the host Lions (1-1, 1-1).
Brandon Murn scored two touchdowns in the visiting Gladiators' (1-1, 1-1) Century Conference win against the Quakers (1-1, 1-1).
Seth Miller threw touchdown passes of 82 and 43 yards and ran for a 21-yard score as the No. 3-ranked Jayhawks (2-0, 2-0) went on the road to take an Interstate Conference game against the Cougars (0-2, 0-2).

The Bulldogs (1-1, 1-1) went on the road and eked out a win against the Wolverines (0-2, 0-2) in Midwestern Conference action.
The visiting Vikings (2-0, 2-0) narrowly escaped with an Interstate Conference win against the Centurions (0-2, 0-2).
Jarred Brevard rushed 16 times for 127 yards and scored twice to lead the Indians (2-0, 2-0) to a Allegheny Conference win against the host Lancers (0-2, 0-2).
The visiting Wildcats (1-1, 1-1) notched an Allegheny Conference win against East Allegheny (1-1, 1-1).
The host Bulldogs (1-1, 1-0) won their Allegheny Conference opener against the Vikings (1-1, 1-1).
The Tigers (2-0, 2-0) stayed unbeaten by crushing the host Warriors (1-1, 1-1) in a Midwestern Conference matchup.
