Ryan Currie's fourth touchdown run of the night, a 1-yard score with 41 seconds left, lifted Slippery Rock to a 32-26 non-conference win against Brashear at Cupples Stadium.
In the loss, Bulls' quarterback Russell Page completed 14 of 23 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing score. Two of Page's scoring passes went to Deshaun Roberts, who totaled 125 yards on his four receptions.
Damion Terry had 290 total yards and three touchdowns for the Ramblers. Ahmed Turner scored for Perry on a 1-yard run.
Chad Williams scored four touchdowns to lead the hosts to a season-opening win. The Eagles outgained Carrick 357-80.
The Dragons lost traveled to West Virginia and lost their season opener to Morgantown.
