Utilizing a stout defense and an unrelenting attack on the ground, Beaver romped to a season-opening 42-0 victory Saturday at Burgettstown. Darian Bradley led the way for the Bobcats (1-0) with 130 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

After two first-quarter touchdowns from Bradley, Beaver rode the legs of two other running backs in what turned out to be a 21-point second quarter that turned the game into a rout. Anthony Keriotis had a touchdown run of 19 yards that was followed up by a 32-yard scamper by Alex Rowse that extended the Beaver lead to 27-0. Bradley recorded his third score of the game on a 38-yard run that gave Beaver a 34-0 lead going into halftime and finished his banner day with his longest touchdown run of the game, a 44-yarder, that, after a 2-point conversion, capped the scoring.

The Bobcats will return home next week to take on New Brighton while the Blue Devils (0-1) will look to rebound against Steel Valley.
