Jeannette senior guard surpasses 2,000 points

Gregory joins
elite 2,000 club
Jeannette's Ciara Gregory, a 5-8 senior guard, became the second player from the WPIAL to surpass 2,000 career points this season.
Gregory scored 27 points in Jeannette's 69-41 victory Saturday against Derry in the Westmoreland County Hoopfest at Greensburg Central Catholic, giving her 2,008 for her career.
Gregory, who also had 11 assists and 10 steals, has signed with Charlotte of the Atlantic 10 Conference. She is averaging 30.4 points.
Hopewell's Shatori Walker-Kimbrough eclipsed 2,000 points earlier this season.
Gina Naccarato of Monessen is the WPIAL's all-time scoring leader with 3,364 points.
