Allderdice: The Dragons have won the past two City League championships. Although three starters graduated, this team still figures to be strong. Senior guard Sydnee Abernathy (10 ppg) and junior guard Sierra Fordham (8 ppg) will be the leaders.
Westinghouse: Although Westinghouse has lost in the title game three consecutive seasons, count on the Bulldogs to challenge for the championship. Westinghouse has been in the title game 18 years in a row. Junior guard Jasmine Myers averaged 12 points as a sophomore and made All-City.
Obama: After finishing 11-11 last season, Obama figures to be in the top half of the City League again this season.
Brashear: Samone Rainey is one of the top underclassmen in the City League. A sophomore guard, she averaged 6 points as a freshman.
Carrick: Chardonney Littlejohn, a guard, averaged 14 points last season as a ninth grader.
Perry: The Commodores hope to return to the form of a few years ago. After winning at least 10 City League games four years in a row, Perry finished 3-11 in the City last year.
