Seneca Valley takes another WPIAL baseball title

The WPIAL Class AAAA baseball championship goes to Seneca Valley again.

Seneca Valley won the title for the second consecutive year with a 5-3 victory against Mt. Lebanon Wednesday night at Consol Energy Park in North Franklin.

Matt Smith pitched a seven-hitter and struck out 10 for Seneca Valley. Carson Kessler had a pair of run-scoring singles for the Raiders.

Seneca Valley took a 5-1 lead into the seventh inning before Mt. Lebanon scored twice to make it 5-3.
