The Penguins assigned defenseman Alain Nasreddine to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL for a conditioning assignment.

Nasreddine has not appeared in any of the Penguins' games this season. Last season, he appeared in 44 games for Pittsburgh and scored five points (one goal, four assists). He also appeared in 19 games for 19 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season scoring eight points (three goals, five assists).
