Duquesne released the team's 14-game non-conference basketball schedule Thursday, one with some challenges for the Dukes in Jim Ferry's first season as head coach.

The schedule is highlighted by a pair of games at Consol Energy Center: the 81st City Game against Pitt on Dec. 5, followed by a meeting with West Virginia on Dec. 11.

The team also will take part in the Legends Classic in November. They will play an opening round game at Georgetown, Georgia, Indiana or UCLA Nov. 11-15, then host three games Nov. 19-21 at the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Duquesne opens the season Nov. 9 at Albany, will play at Applachian State on Nov. 28, face Maine at home Dec. 1, host New Orleans (Dec. 8), Western Michigan (Dec. 19) and travel to Robert Morris (Dec. 15), Louisiana-Lafayette (Dec. 22) and Penn State (Dec. 29).
