Duquesne defeats CMU, 74-48, in an exhibition game

Duquesne knocked off Division III Carnegie Mellon 74-48 in an exhibition game to start the season Thursday night under first year Coach Jim Ferry.

Duquesne used multiple double-digit runs to take a commanding halftime lead, 39-14, then pull away further in the second half.

The Dukes got 11 points from Kadeem Pantophlet and 10 apiece from seniors Sean Johnson and Andre Marhold.

Ferry used his entire bench, including three walk-ons and four first-year Dukes.
