Duquesne basketball to play nationally televised game at Georgetown

After opening their season at Albany on Nov. 9, Duquesne will travel to Georgetown Nov. 11 as part of the 2012 Legends Classic, facing the Hoyas for the first time since 1995 for a nationally televised game on ESPNU.

The Dukes will then host James Madison, North Dakota State and Youngstown State in a round robin subregional of the Legends Classic on Nov. 19, 20, and 21.

The Hoyas beat the Dukes 88-86 on Dec. 28, 1995.

The Dukes haven't won at Georgetown since 1962.

Game times for each day of the subregional at the A.J. Palumbo Center will be 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

The Dukes also released times for its non-conference home games today: they will face Maine, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m., New Orleans on Dec. 7 at p.m., West Virginia, on Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. (Consol Energy Center) and Western Michigan Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

The Atlantic 10 schedule is expected to be released within the next month.
