Saturday Dec. 16:
Come party with the Steel City Mafia at Dixies Tavern! This is the official pre-party for the game. Get a chance to meet Steelers legend Levon Kirkland and get his autograph. Musical performance from Steeler fanatic Manic D! For more details, see other attached document!
GAME DAY: Sunday Dec. 17
What: Charlotte's Official Steelers Tailgate: Bringing Black and Gold to Charlotte Uptown!
When: Starting at 9am-until game time
Where: Corner of Mint and 2nd St. You will see the banners for Welcome to Steelers Country
How: In order to save on the hassle of finding a spot near the stadium and paying $35 per spot, Dixies will be running an official shuttle from their parking lot straight to the tailgate. Dixies is located on 7th between Brevard St. and College St. Cost for the shuttle is free, but tipping the driver is appreciated. The shuttle will also take those who do not have tickets back to Dixies so you can watch the game at the Charlotte Ultimate Black and Gold bar, Dixies Tavern.
Details: For the tailgate, all you need to bring is your black and gold gear. We will have an RV set up to provide the official location with plenty of black and gold banners. We also have Charlotte's #1 DJ and Steelers Fan, DJ Jazzy Jimmy spinning great tunes and classic Steelers songs!
Food and Beer ... the important stuff! For $5 it is all you can eat and drink (while supplies last) so get there EARLY!!! We will have a beer tub out there and a cook to fire up all the dogs, burgers and brats! *(beer may run out, so if you want to be safe, bring some extra supplies!)
Like I said, just bring the Terrible Towels and Steelers pride to show Charlotte how to REALLY tailgate!!"
