Newlyweds throw in the Towel

Pittsburgh Steelers-themed weddings aren't new. Many a couple has exchanged vows clad in black-and-gold jerseys or held receptions in this or that sports bar.
But when Jimmy and Eryn Bradley recently married in Temecula, Calif., they threw in the towel, so to speak.
Mr. Bradley, who grew up in Pittsburgh, converted his northern California bride long ago. Both are members of a rabid Steelers following that often gathers at the Cock 'n' Bull Pub in Venice, Calif., to watch games.
The newlyweds also are known to host their own pre-game parties, where they cook and serve traditional Pittsburgh foods. They even tried their hand at creating Primanti Brothers sandwiches on one occasion.
But we digress. They were married Aug. 8 by a friend, Kim Leoleis of Boston, who secured a one-day deputy commissioner license just so she could officially help them tie the knot.
Underneath sunny skies, and after the ceremony officially ended with a kiss, guests were instructed to look under their chairs, where they found bags containing personalized Terrible Towels shipped in from the 'Burgh. Each towel bore the names of the bride and groom and wedding date.
As the wedding party exited, they were saluted by all of those towels and grunts of "Go Steelers."
All of it was caught on video by the Bradleys' friend, Mike Haldin, and preserved for posterity on YouTube.
The couple are hoping for one other belated Steelers wedding gift, arriving at the conclusion of the upcoming season. You don't have to be a genius to guess what they want.
