Valentine's Day Dining
• The Carnegie Cafe at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Oakland, is holding a Valentine's Wine Dinner with Claudia Dilillio of BelVino Imports on Feb. 14 at 5:45 p.m. The evening will begin with hors d'oeuvres, followed by a five-course dinner paired with wine beginning at 7 p.m. $105 for Carnegie members, $115 for nonmembers; reservations required; 412-622-3291.

• The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, Highland Park, is holding a special Valentine's Day dinner on Feb. 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a formal dinner, docents with small animals, a special Water's Edge Animal event, and a presentation by Henry Kacprzyk on the intimate secrets of exotic animal mating. • Executive chef Andrew Morrison and sous chef Paula Smagacz will host an interactive cooking class at Habitat Restaurant in the Fairmont Pittsburgh, Downtown, on Feb. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendees will prepare fresh butternut squash agnolotti and then enjoy a three-course lunch, featuring the prepared pasta, salad, dessert and wine, around Habitat's communal table. $65 per person includes materials, lunch and wine; space is limited; habitatrestaurant.com or 412-773-8848.
• Vivo Kitchen, Sewickley, is holding a Pork and Pinot Wine Dinner on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. Six courses will each feature a pork preparation paired with a Pinot Noir. • Fern Hollow Nature Center is holding an Italian Winter Family-Style Dinner on Feb. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. The dinner will include homemade pasta and braciole with polenta, as well as appetizers, vegetables, salad, dessert and nonalcoholic beverages. The BYOB dinner is $50 per person for members and $60 per person for nonmembers; proceeds benefit the Fern Hollow education program. • The Crested Duck Charcuterie has opened a deli in Beechview.
