Garlic mustard recipes

Garlic Mustard Pesto

2 cups fresh garlic mustard leaves

3 cloves minced fresh garlic

1/3 cup pine nuts, walnuts or hazelnuts

1 cup grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

In a food processor, finely chop the garlic mustard leaves, garlic and nuts. Slowly mix in the cheese and olive oil.

Garlic Mustard Pizza

1 package of store bought pizza crust or, better yet, make your own

1 cup of red or white sauce, preferably homemade

2-3 cups chopped, steamed and drained garlic mustard leaves

8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup chopped onions

1/2 cup chopped bell peppers

1/2 cup chopped mushrooms

Prepare pizza crust. Top with sauce and layer with cheese and vegetables on a pizza stone.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
