Noelle Weber, 32, and Matt Davis, 31, wed on June 25, 2011. The couple resides in Ross Township with their two cats, Sammy and Shadow.

Q: How did you meet?

Noelle: We are proud to say that we met at church! We both attend Allegheny Center Alliance Church on the North Side and were introduced by a mutual friend one day after the service. I am always running late and every Sunday after we met, Matt seemed to just "happen" to have an empty seat next to him that I could slide in to. I didn't realize that he liked me, though, until later in the summer when we traveled to Boston together with a group of friends. We started dating immediately after the trip.

Q: Where did you each grow up?

Noelle: Matt grew up in Montgomeryville, a suburb outside of Philadelphia, and I grew up in Sewickley. We joke that our parents must have secretly known each other because we were raised nearly identically!

Q: Who proposed? How?

Matt: I proposed on the beach in Virginia Beach in August of 2010. I was hoping for a good sunset, but it rained most of the trip. Finally, on the last day we were there, the sun came out. I grabbed Noelle's hand and walked her down to the beach in time to catch the end of the sunset. We didn't go far before I dropped to one knee and proposed.

Q: Where were you married? Why did you choose that site?

Noelle: We were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ambridge. My family has attended St. John's for generations and I was both baptized and confirmed there. It really meant a lot to me that we could get married in my home church surrounded by friends who had known me since birth.

Q: What was the best part? The worst?

Matt: It may sound a bit clich??, but the best part of our wedding day was sharing it with so many of the people that we love. It was especially memorable because most of my extended family lives in eastern Pennsylvania and most of Noelle's family is local, so it was the first time that we were able to get both families in one place at the same time. The worst part was that we didn't have nearly enough time to spend with all of our guests. And maybe the nerves right before the ceremony started.
