Nikki Tiani, 27, and Robert Moroney, 40, wed on September 17, 2011. The couple currently resides in Irwin.

Q: How did you meet?

Nikki: We met, oddly enough, at a purse party held at a mutual friend's house. Rob was the vendor and I was shopping!

Q: Who introduced you?

Nikki: Kim Connolly, a very dear, mutual friend.

Q: Where did you each grow up?

Nikki: We grew up within a half of a mile of one another. Rob likes to joke that he was graduating from high school when I was mastering the art of coloring in the lines. There's a 13-year age gap between us.

Q: Who proposed? How?

Nikki: Rob proposed in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. We were visiting for a poker tournament that he was scheduled to play in.

Q: Where were you married? Why did you choose that site?

Nikki: We were married seven days shy of the one year anniversary of Rob's proposal. We chose September 17, 2011 to honor my deceased father's birthday. He would have turned 82 on our wedding day.

Q: Where was the reception and honeymoon? Why did you choose those sites?

Nikki: The reception and honeymoon were held in Las Vegas. We love to visit there because Rob is a semi-professional poker player and we also visit family and friends. We try to fly out once every six months.

Q: What was the best part? The worst?

Nikki: The best part of the wedding, for me, was committing myself to the most selfless, handsome, outrageously fun man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is so much more than my best friend and partner. What we share is beyond words.

Q: Who was the oldest guest? Who came the farthest?

Nikki: The oldest guest was my groom -- joking! I'd say the oldest guest was my Aunt Rosie, though a good niece never shares her family members' ages! My entire family lives on the West coast, so Rob's family and our friends from Pittsburgh all traveled the farthest to attend.

Q: What was the funniest thing that happened?

Nikki: The funniest thing that happened was our tire blowing out on the way to the chapel. The bridesmaids were forced to stand on the side of the freeway in our wedding gear in 108 degree heat while the driver fixed the flat!

Q: What's the best marriage advice you received?

Nikki: The best marriage advice was from our cousin who said, "Rob, in marriage you'll soon learn that you can either be right, or be happy. Remember that."

Q: What is one item of your spouse's that you wish you could throw out?

Nikki: His hundreds of shirts. The man is more of a clothes fanatic than me!

Q: What is one thing that you do solely because you love your spouse?

Nikki: Watch sports.
