Why the switch?

Gov. Tom Corbett's lawsuit to dismiss NCAA sanctions against Penn State is disingenuous. Last July he accepted the penalties as part of the corrective process but now thinks he was incorrect. Mr. Corbett is a Penn State board of trustees member and supporter. But as state attorney general he did not bring charges against Jerry Sandusky, even with abundant evidence of his misdeeds.
Mr. Corbett has an obvious conflict of interest as a Penn State trustee and former attorney general. He seeks to capitalize on this horrible crime that he could have acted upon sooner.
This appears to be revisionist history building to safeguard himself from taking responsibility for his inaction. It will be interesting to follow developments, especially with a new, incoming attorney general.
Lastly, there is no mention of the real victims, vulnerable children who were injured by these tragic events.
