Just imagine the number of educational programs, the medical treatment for injured returning soldiers and the humane relief for the victims of destructive hurricanes that could be provided with the obscene amount of money used to finance campaigns. Meanwhile, the candidates waste time they could be spending on the people's business to wine and dine donors.
