We're saved by Pat Toomey!

Thank God that Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., voted against the U.N.-sponsored nonbinding agreement issued by the "Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities." He wisely saw that this socialist lunacy would "threaten U.S. autonomy and give the U.N. undue influence over American policy."
Sen. Toomey saw the threat in its contents, which reaffirm "the right to life," "access to justice," "respect for home and family" and "equality and nondiscrimination." He saw the threat in its stated meaning, which reaffirmed the interdependence of all human rights and the need for persons with disabilities to live life to its fullest.
Thank you, Sen. Toomey for bravely standing against worldwide recognition of the need for equality for people with disabilities.
