We have lost control of our government

I'm 53 years old. I got a job the day I turned 16, on my birthday, with a government issued "license" to work. I've been paying taxes, federal, state and local, since that day without interruption.

The current state of politics in this country is pathetic. As an engineer, I was trained to look at the facts, evaluate the problem and come up with a solution. It works!

I can't stand reading the newspaper every day and listening to the evening news about the "fiscal cliff." It's all a farce perpetrated by special interests that have "purchased" our government.

We have truly lost control of our government.
