Want to repeal it?

There is a lot of talk of gun control nowadays. People debate what is and is not a Constitutional right, if the Second Amendment is timeless, or outdated. Let's get to the guts of the issue. If you truly believe that the Second Amendment is no longer relevant as written, please write a contemporary version, in plain current English, amending or repealing it. Find a legislator to propose it in Congress. Start the process to enact this 28th Amendment.

If you can get a two-thirds vote of both houses of Congress to vote for it, then three-fourths of the states to ratify it, you have yourself a new amendment.

By the way, the 26th Amendment, establishing the right to vote for those age 18 years or older, took just three months and a week from proposal to ratification.

Good luck.
