Out here in lily-white Fombell, where most folks love Jesus and dislike Barack Obama, there is little joy. God has abandoned his faithful! Their prayers and donations are rejected oblations. How can a conservative God allow the re-election of a liberal Democrat?
Four years hence, most Fombellians will still be voting for the conservative candidate. And, again, the majority of voters, not God, will determine the victor.
God is an independent!
