Vacuous discourse

Kenneth J. Bearer ("No-Hope Obama," March 2 letters) does not like President Barack Obama. I get that. But to call his three recent appointments as secretary of state, secretary of defense and CIA director "Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest," I wonder which is which.

Is he talking about the guy with degrees from Yale and Boston College, or the one with degrees from Fordham and Texas who speaks fluent Arabic, or the one who holds a degree from Nebraska who founded a successful cellular phone company? Two of these guys are combat veterans who volunteered their service and shed blood fighting for their country.

And this intellectual criticism is coming from someone whose idea of political discourse is a slogan on his T-shirt.
