Time to privatize

I just went to the Hampton Plaza liquor store in Allison Park at 10:30 a.m. on New Year's Eve. To my utter amazement the store was keeping its normal Monday hours of not opening until 11 a.m. This has to be one of the busiest days for a liquor store, yet the Liquor Control Board doesn't seem to care about customer service.

If this was a privately owned store, it would have been open at 8 a.m. and stay open until at least 10 p.m. I guess a monopoly doesn't have to worry about its customers.
