Time to move on?

Are we missing something? A young, unarmed African-American male is accosted by three white men who call themselves police officers and is beaten beyond recognition. A nearly all-white civil jury can find nothing about their behavior that warrants a verdict of "malicious prosecution."

"Moving on" was suggested in the PG's editorial "Unsettling Verdict: The Miles Civil Rights Case Should End Here" (Aug. 13).

Is it really time to move on?
