Ann Romney and I have a lot in common. While battling breast cancer we both had the solid support and love of our husbands and families. We both had excellent health insurance and thus received the very best care, allowing us to become survivors rather than statistics. We both knew that our financial security would not be threatened by our illnesses.
I, however, support the Affordable Care Act, allowing women less fortunate than Mrs. Romney and I to have the same chance at survival. Ann Romney's husband has vowed to repeal it on "day one."
Get registered. Make sure your identification is in order. Vote Democratic on Nov. 6.
