The voter ID law is the greatest threat to democracy of our time. I have always known that it was passed as a partisan measure to assure that more Republicans would be elected, and that the stated justification of preventing fraud is a sham.
Now, state House Majority Leader Mike Turzai has confirmed for anyone who still had doubts the true reason behind the law ("Turzai's Voter ID Remark Draws Criticism," June 26). I am at a loss.
