It's not the guns that are our problem in society. It's the mind of the person who is doing the shooting. There are people right now who have mentally ill family members living in homes who have access to deadly weapons. We need to do more to provide help for people with mental and emotional problems.
School officials, office managers and people living with the mentally ill have the responsibility of helping people who are mentally and emotionally ill. The idea that taking the lives of innocent people is an answer to the shooter's situation is the main concern. We need to do more to help those we know who have mental and emotional problems.
