Strange events

Last week I thought I would never see anything more unusual or sad than an aging movie star rambling incessantly to a chair in front of millions of viewers at the Republican National Convention.

Then, Saturday, I witnessed a former Penn State football star at the Penn State football season opening game sitting in a private box enjoying the game with a cardboard cut-out of his now dead college coach.

Once again we are reminded that sometimes reality proves stranger than fiction.
