Stop the perks

In the Nov. 27 Post-Gazette, letter writer Rennie Green ("List Congress' Perks," Nov. 27) has the same thoughts as my friends and I. When are members of Congress going to stop their perks (special health care, ours is not good enough for them)? I live on less than $36,000 and I still pay all of my IRS taxes -- no loopholes -- while they have automatic pay raises that we don't see, etc.

Make Congress abide by the same laws that apply to the average citizen. We all need help, so we have money in the banks of America not the banks of China and other foreign countries.

All municipalities and states must have a balanced budget. Why not the United States of America? Wake up, Congress, look at how "We the People" live..
