Sophie Masloff, you should be ashamed. First off, don't tell me that voting is so unimportant to you that you could not get an updated ID card until after the PG ran a story about your lack of ID.
You had heard horror stories of long lines? Come on, what else do you have to do that is so important that the ability to vote takes second place? Surely you have "people" who could have given you a ride before this. I, too, had an issue with my ID and because voting is so important to me, I took the time to get it straightened out. Priorities, Sophie, priorities.
Perhaps you think that lying to vote many years ago is a joke. I for one think that in a free society voting is a very serious matter and nothing to lie about. You have just given me another reason to really fight for the voter ID law.
Again, Sophie, you should be ashamed!
