Sickening abuse
Share with others:
God bless Peter Kreuthmeier and his dog Zeke, who discovered and rescued a severely abused dog in a locked garbage can ("Two Sharp Noses Save Canine From Its Trash-Can Prison," Aug. 30). May the human garbage that committed this heinous act on an innocent dog receive appropriate justice in the event he or she is located.
Unfortunately, and thanks to our lax laws and so-called lawmakers who don't care, the criminal will never be caught, and even if, he or she would get a slap on the wrist and walk free to commit further sickening acts, first with animals and later with humans.
The majority of documented psychopathic and sociopathic crimes always start with perverse animal abuse that progresses to humans. Must we wait until this sicko's next victim in a locked garbage can is found to be an abused and mutilated baby or child before we see change in our criminal justice system?
